Slack Tea Thursday

I'm economising on words tonight.
What's aussie, cheap and photographs like a massacre in a sandwich shop?

A Fritz and Sauce Sandwich.
Nobody really knows what that meat is. We're too scared to ask. Tastes good but.

See you tomorrow for Favourite Things Friday.

P.S. I caved in on the two minute noodle thing. Yes, I'm weak.  Marg posted this recipe to tempt me and make me eat not only my words but two minute noodles. I did. They were delicious. And noodles are cheap. A 5 pack cost me $1.84. No wonder people love them so much. I've already googled 1,386 recipes that can be made using 2 minute noodles.  At this rate I reckon I can get my weekly shopping bill down to about $12.89

Now that's slack!
The sauce is probably more nutritional than the fritz.

So glad you liked the recipe, and I have converted you.

You can share the 1,386 recipes by starting Two Minute Noodle Tuesday, it would sit well with Slack Tea Thursday and you could become the newest fabbest food blog guru, just like Bakerella only different!

It tasted good, really? What is the sauce? Is it tangy or sweet? I think this has got to be your Slackest Tea yet. :o) And don't worry about the few words. The photo says it all ;o)

I buy 2-minute noodles at the warehouse club...36 packs for $5.00 From my oldest son to youngest daughter, they love them. It's a Saturday lunch staple around here. :o) Happy Thursday almost Friday!

That's being really slack, have to agree with Seams Inspired. Two minute noodles were a staple in both my kitchen and my guy's when were in college. Not so much now. Should see if kiddo will eat them. She may need to acquire a taste for them when she gets to college.

"...photographs like a massacre in a sandwich shop"

When the picture popped up on my Google Reader, I thought "What's bleeding on her plate?" Your description was perfect! Being one of those people who is adverse to eating most meat products (the occasional chicken, turkey and fish are all I eat--it's not a moral thing--it's an "eew" thing), I cringed a little when I saw all that red. But sandwiches are always "slack" and perfect for STT. I'm glad you enjoyed the two-minute noodles.

I have to say I LOVE fritz and sauce - in sandwiches or just a big chunk of fritz smothered in sauce.....sad or what?

I am thinking your Fritz must be like our Spam. It is a meat product that comes out of a can and is of unknown origin. I will also ask, what is the red sauce?

It looked like turkey or something, but maybe it is more like bologna? Do you have that? What's in the sauce?

I don't know if we have two-minute noodles here. I'm going to go ask Google, though (I'm sure he'll know -- he knows everything) because I would love to cut my food bill down that much.
