Yeeeee Haaaaa! Turkey Quilt Finish !

I know I showed you this quilt partially finished , three weeks ago but I'm all excited because as of about 3.40 this afternoon it's actually REALLY finished. Yay! Something nice to snuggle under in the lounge  now that the nights are getting chilly!  And my third quilt finish for 2010. (Yes I'm counting the mini quilt from January)

I really like it. So does Mordecai.

The back...it's really hard to see the quilting. Trust me -It rocks!

I only said one swear while doing the binding , which I still suck at - the binding - not the swearing. Sometimes I wish they had  swearing as an  Olympic Sport. I would totally rock that event.

It's fabulous, I am not a huge fan of orange, but love this quilt. It looks great with the white sashing and what fantastic quilting. Look out I might be sending my quilts your way to be quilted.

I'm not an orange girl either. This was one of those Moda scrap bags with extra yardage for the back. I got 4 in this pattern! Gave two to my Mum (these are so her colours ) and kept two for myself.

I wouldn't have picked these colours but they go really well in my loungeroom which is creams and browns and khakis.

You send me your quilting and I'll send you my binding Marg.

I love Gobble Gobble--almost picked up a charm pack of it yesterday at the fabric store. Looking very smart, modern, and cozy! Oh, and the ginger cat matches perfectly. Glad the swearing was kept to a minimum. My delicate ears, you know.

I like it. I love the quilting. At first I thought you'd used a crinkly fabric for the sashing.

It's beautiful! I'm so glad you excel at something like swearing - we all need to feel important! (Hee hee hee)

Looks good. Congrats and snuggle under it. It's still wierd that when you're snuggling, we're putting our quilts away. Lane

This is my favorite quilt!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the one I saved a photo of onto my computer and sent it to my husband AND his mom (who quilts) and said "HELP ME COPY THIS QUILT!" What a THIEF I am! Sorry. But it's the best compliment, right? Yeah, that's it!

Anyway, it's just BEAUTIFUL. I'm obsessed with this pattern, the colors, all of it!
