The Sweetest Thing I Ever Saw

I'll see you all again when I'm completely pruney from standing under the hot water until it runs out...

PS. Happy Canada Day to all my Canadian friends. Have a butter tart for me eh?

Heaven is a hot water tank. Enjoy! I don't think I have had a butter tart since I left Canada. Brings back memories.

I think Penola must somehow be in Canada, because they all say eh at the ends of their sentences too.

I just got out of the shower. I had one yesterday too but tonight's still felt fantastic.

♫♪Hal-le-lu-jah!♫♪ Can you hear the chorus being sung as you soak in the depths of hot water? ☺

I have to say, I'm extremely excited for you. Didn't think you could rough it much longer. I was getting worried. LOL

Happy Saturday! Enjoy the steamy water at your disposal! ☺

Yay! Hope you are in hot water heaven. Too bad you no longer have a teenager at home to really break in the new water heater, I'm convinced no one uses more hot water then a teen aged girl!

Thank heaven for that! I've been feeling your pain - from afar !
Nothing worse that not having your own hot shower - it is never the same at someone else's place.
Now I wonder ..... who went first?!!
Cheers

At the cottage here, we limit to five minutes the showers! You should hear me banging on the door and yelling that we are on septic people!
But in the city, ah, the bliss of a long hot shower. good for shaving the legs too!

Nothing like a long hot shower - so glad you you have hot water again.........! enjoy!

looks pretty great - just sorry that it was so pricey!

hope you enjoyed your shower. A nice way to cap off the weekend, I'm sure.

now I feel like I need to investigate what a butter tart is and how to make one. I know I have butter, sugar, and flour....wonder what else I'll need.

Okay...so inquiring minds want to know....did you save any hot water for the rest of your family after showering in your own bathroom??? LOL Congrats!!! And for some reason, your posts haven't been showing up in my blog reader...gggrrrr.... Your Favourite Things Friday post is great! LOVE the 'come in peace' veggies! How sweet is that?? BTW...Old Bay Seasoning is GREAT on pizza. Sprinkle it all of the top before you bake it. YUMMY! What awesome friends you have!!!

Shay? It is getting late? Aren't you pruney yet? Yikes. Is that a huntsman over there in the corner?

Yay! So glad you got the hot water fixed. There were a couple of mornings this last winter when the hot water wouldn't run in the bathrooms until we'd run it in the kitchen for a good bit. It was really inconvenient and there was no way I was taking a cold shower. Glad you had your MIL close, but even happier that you have a new water heater! Yay!

We got our AC fixed, which is more of a luxury, as opposed to the necessity of water heater. It was kind of a hit to the wallet. The fridge has started dripping water inside, so that's next on the fix list. Does it ever end? Maybe we should just buy a new house.
