I'm not going to make a big song and dance about Slack Tea Thursday this week. There's always a back story to Slack Tea Thursday but tonight I'm going to use as few words as possible. Stop laughing immediately.
Arrived home from work at 5.30pm. This was entree....left over cold lamb chops from last night's dinner.
Off to the Plaza to buy Little P's birthday presents, and dropped into Macca's on the way back home. I had a voucher..so it was slack, fast AND free.
I added Slack Tea Thursday to my work team meeting agenda today. Nobody batted an eyelash and immediately launched into suggestions. Technically we were finished and we didn't have to minute that part of the meeting. Probably just as well....

Doesn't get much more slack than a drive through (you did drive through, right?)
You certainly are THE queen of slackness!!!! There's nothing like a nice left over lamb chop.
So glad you are back on the internet.
I would like to know how it is you manage to cook when your kitchen is being torn up. You are indeed a brave woman!
Lovin it! (The Maccas slackness) You know why Maccas is slack? Cause there's no nutrition in it. (Nutrition is for people who are trying obviously) Maccas is also slack because if you decided after purchase that you didn't want to eat it, the meal keeps indefinitely and could be used on another slack tea Thursday. (Apparently there are websites devoted to this!) Can't believe you went to the Plaza on a Thursday night! You are crazy!
a few questions for you:
was the lamb kinda grainy (from all the congealed fat?)
how can you eat McDonalds and still lose 25 lbs?
what have you been doing to lost 25 lbs?
how is the kitchen progress?
we were out of civilization for the past few weeks, I need to catch up on your life! :)
Oh wow! I haven't been to McDonald's since I don't know when. That is really slack!
Maybe you should have kept minutes so you can refer back. Just in case you forget something.
I'm still rooting for ice cream straight from the container with a plastic spoon.
Cheers, -E
I don't know what's under that bun, but I imagined it was my beloved Filet of Fish, which I had to give up in '06. If I think about it, I can still taste the tartar sauce I used to burp for hours afterwards. Good times.
Macca's is the ultimate slack....my kids do it all the time ;-)

That's my version of slack right there. We have so much in common, tell me that soda is Mr. Pibb/Dr. Pepper.
Then I know we are twins separated at birth. That's my usual order right there.
Um, couldn't you have photographed the lamb chops BEFORE eating them?
