Drumroll please.
Yes- I managed one whole hexie this week . Not a whole flower- just one hexie. That one there at the top.I was thrilled with this monumental effort.
Linking up to Kate's 15 minute challenge because I'm sure it will make someone else feel good about what they got done. (Snicker , snicker )
When will the slackness end? Will Mrs. P ever find her mojo and motivation again. Has she used up all her inspiration genes? Stay tuned for the next exciting instalment !

Ah, but what a lovely good looking hexie it is!
The mojo does come back, well at least mine did after I lost it in Nov/Dec....
I got my paper piecing out last night, I have a serious overflow of fabric to do This Goes with That as I am collecting fabric from 2 shops (idiot) so I am thinking that I might have to start another project from the left over fabric which I am sure there will be plenty of but I have only completely 17 hexies so I might be doing this project for a long time.
You are a better woman than I. The very thought of making hexagons has me just a little bit twitchy. Maybe when I am in my 80s...
I haven't read this post yet - but... I HAD TO POST because it might be the first time I'm not the 23rd commenter! What freaking TIME is it in your neck of the woods right now, girl!?!?!
Anyway, I'm satisfied. I'm number 4. HA.
OK, now to read the post... :) L
And I'm number 5 lol - well done Shay - don't knock a hexie - a hexie leads to a flower leads to a quilt... You'll get there - by the time you're 124 hehe!
Agggghh - you have the dreaded word verification to prove I'm not a robot - I'll probably be number 10 by the time I get past the fuzzy letters - saying that, I might have the dreaded word verification too?!?
You've got to start somewhere. One hexie is better than none. Keep at it. You'll get there.
Sometimes you just have to take a break before the inspiration comes back, I'm glad you did get something done, even if only just a little.
One hexie is fabulous. I took credit for spending just 15 minutes in the car when I worked on sewing one hexie to another hexie. I didn't even get a completed flower out of it.
As Pat says, you have to start somewhere. Hopefully the mojo draining vibes will all go away soon.
Thanks for linking up this week. It's always good to have you in the challenge, mojo or no.
Oh, the mojo mystery, can't wait to find out how it ends. Sitting on the edge of my seat here, waiting and wondering how many hexies will rise to the top!
One hexie is very pretty, and will lead to another before you know it. They are happier in company, preferably others of the same kind.
It's so cute, Shay! Maybe that's the start of your mojo coming back. :o) xo Happy Leap Day!
yep, it's a sure sign you're getting it back.
next week we'll all be feeling absolutely awed (humbled even) by all that you will have accomplished . . .
:-)

Respect - hexies! My mojo avoics these like the plague!
You know how it is said "a journey starts with a single step" well maybe a quilt starts with a single hexie...just a thought. Go with the flow!
With all the family stuff, I'm amazed you had time for even one hexie. Hope you can find your mojo .. maybe Little P hid it somewhere.
I read a post today about picking up something to do for just 15minutes and how that can lead to a return of inspiration. Surely your hexie needs more friends??
Enjoy her prettiness in your flowers.
Are you sure it's at the top I would swear it's the one at bottom right!
High five.
Not a lot going on over here either - just life! Going away this weekend, so hopefully I'll get some serious sewing done!
It must be the January/February dulldrums. I haven't got much done lately either.
That is a really pretty Hexie, though. LOVE it! And as the saying goes, something is better than nothing, right?

I'm not in the mood either. I think I have too many projects started. I think that's what gives me this apprehension in the sewing room. I've try messing up the place, and cleaning, but neither of those activities have put me on the "right" path. I have a new grandbaby coming, too. Sew you'd think I'd be on the straight and narrow. Nope... there too, I have so many plans, but nothing started yet. It might be spring in my case...I've never been very ambitious during that season... too much looooove in the air? No! So many flowers to see, and the trees are coming out! I just don't have an excuse for you, my dear... You're going into Fall. Is that your dreamy season? Whatever your problem, I hope it cures soon.
Hugs!
One whole hexie is more that I've ever made in my life. It is a beautiful hexie, and you should be proud. Makes me want a piece of pumpkin pie with lots of cinnamon and nutmeg in it (or maybe cherry pie)...and why does everything make me think of food?
PS - I have taken to hitting the refresh button on every first word verification pairing I get, because invariably I cannot figure it the F out the first time around. They get easier each time you refresh. I should see if they eventually get to the point where it says, "oh for crying out loud, never mind, we'll do it ourselves!"
You made me laugh I think that is the least you have ever created! And it is a lovely Hexie too :-)
Awww...Mrs. P, at least you accomplished something! I have been very slack, but that will change soon! Keep up the good work, your mojo will return!
Well one hexie is one hexie more than I managed this week...well done you...
