Wow! You're like Hurricane Pyjamas, only instead of leaving chaos in your wake, you've left an awesome amount of finished work! Way to go! Love the circles quilt especially! it is gorgeous!

P.S. I hate sanding. Way to prioritize :D.
I'm soooo impressed. You must have not stopped all weekend. Now I feel ashamed at my laziness.
ReplyDeleteI've just been mooching around, reading the paper, doing the crossword, cutting out some material for my quilt project, surfing the blogs and enjoying a rainy day in Brisbane for a change.
I'll try harder tomorrow
Cheers
Helen
Very productive weekend, mine almost was. Have binding to finish tonight, and finished of the text of my pattern. Just have to take photo's now and work up a front page, then it can be printed.
ReplyDeleteOMG look at everything you have done, wow! Cushions look fabulous as does that wall art, love it.
ReplyDeleteYour circle quilt looks absolutely blinkin amazing and good on you for attacking your chair. Amazing how work takes our mind off things isn't it hun.
Holy Cow, QIMP-You've been busy, all right. Good for you! I love the quilt-it came out so great. And the pillows...and the wall art...you chickster, you:-)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Wow! Just mooching going on here. Mooching with Inspector Barnaby on Midsomer Murders right now.
ReplyDeleteHoley Moley! That circles quilt is amazing! You done good, girl!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, Ms. P! Referring to your previous post/rant, you have amazing energy for "someone your age!" Beautiful finishes--all of them.
ReplyDeleteAbout aging--I discovered years ago that I was more satisfied by embracing my age rather than trying to remain "young." Many women report discovering a new life and new talents after menopause, and that has been true for me. I'm glad to be the age I am--63--even though I still feel like a 30 y/o in my mind and sometimes act like a 30 y/o as well. Attitude is EVERYTHING! LOL
Your finishes are amazing - those cushions look super snuggly and the quilt is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWell done you!
Wow! Those are some amazing finishes. The re-purposed cardigan and shawl pillows came out beautifully. Love the wild circle quilt. What fun wall-art. :-)
ReplyDeleteGood girl about sanding the chair.
Excellent results, General P! Now you can sit back with your bourbon and cigar and enjoy all the finishes. Wish I had some!
ReplyDeleteYou are so productive! You make me feel so lazy. So far this weekend I've sewn a little on the snowball quilt, did some dishes, and watched some Netflix.
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo you go girl!!! Those friday night sew ins sure put you in the mood!!
ReplyDeleteLove you quilt, it looks AMAZING!!
Nice cushions and Kitchen panel as well :-)
Great work. Love the circle quilt.
ReplyDeleteAre you on speed or something?? How much are you getting done!
ReplyDeleteLove the circle quilt, and everything else, but especially the quilt!
Wow Mrs P you are on fire. You are certainly making up for all those weeks on non craftiness during the renovations. I love the circles quilt, it's absolutely gorgeous and looks very happy.
ReplyDeleteThe wall Art is fabulous too.
I can't believe how quickly you made those cushions, you are a start!
You are a star, not a start! Proof reading, grrrr.
ReplyDeletegirl, you are flying!!! wowzah....
ReplyDeleteYour cushions are wonderful. I especially like the crocheted shawl one. Very pretty. Love your Wall Art too. Father's Day? In Canada we celebrate the end of June. I liked that cause there was less attention paid than to Mother's Day in May. I didn't have a father past age 13 so it was nice to not to have to explain it. In the 1960's it wasn't "normal" not to have a father.
ReplyDeleteWhere do I get the energy??? Look at all the stuff you finish and you work full time too!! Love, love, love the circles quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt! You are quite busy! Go eat that chocolate now girl!
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss this post? Way to go on your finishes and that circle quilt is DA BOMB!!! Did you quilt it? I love that design... I will have to work harder at my quilting circles. They usually come out between a rectangle and an oval. lol
ReplyDeleteWell done, it's a beautiful quilt.
