I'm going to make this really fast ...

We are so close to actually having a laundry, I can feel it! . By this time next week, barring unforseen tragedy, major illness or the end of the world,  I'll be posting pics. As a teaser, I finally broke down yesterday and put my vinyl decal up. I couldn't wait any longer.

That will mean my laundry will no longer be here outside on my patio.....I cannot tell you how excited I am . As will our neighbours be when they don't have to watch us washing our undies and other unmentionables outside like hillbillies.

Back tomorrow with Translation Tuesday. It involves chocolate.

 Have a great Monday!

  2. Woo hoo, for the laundry, love the vinyl decal. I should do that so at least the angel will know where it is, even if she doesn't ever go in there.
Chocolate? Did you say chocolate, now we're talking.

  3. I love your decal! I was going to say - JEALOUS, but then I scrolled down to the second picture and the hillbillly remark and just had to laugh! I'm sure I WILL be jealous soon - can't wait to see the pics! (My laundry is hidden in the dark, unfinished part of the basement, oh well.)

  6. I am excited for you Mrs. P! I bet you can't wait for laundry time to get back to normal. I laughed at the photo of your machine outside. Here in WV, home of the hillbilly, we have many houses that have machines outside. It is on purpose though. I remember, years ago, living in a small house in the Dallas area, my neighbors across the street used to hang their baby's poo diapers on the fence and hose them off! I am not sure where they thought the poo was going or why they didn't wash the diapers off in the toilet like normal people! They were hillbillies living in the city!!

Can't wait to read your post about chocolate - are we talking Tim Tams?? I am savoring the Tim Tams you sent me - the baby will be home next week and I don't want to share ... well I guess I will save her one!

  7. Tim Tams are CHOCOLATE? I had no idea that was what served as the Vegemite chaser. What a waste of chocolate! She should have tried Southern Comfort instead.

  8. Gee, I was going to do laundry today (it's Monday here) but if you need something to help you celebrate I'm sure there's an airplane headed your way. I'll just give them my basket. No startch please.

  9. Love the sign for the laundry! In our house I would need one that said 'Here is the Laundry basket' and a giant arrow!!

  10. I *heart* vinyl wall letters!! I wanted to put fancy scripts and famous sayings all over the walls of my house but my husband put the kabosh on that idea. So we settled for "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" in my daughters room and "Always Kiss Me Goodnight" in my bedroom! Love the laundry sign!
