If I have any actual bits leftover, they are usually used on the backing. I used to make everything with squares, but I realised rectangles work just as well most of the time, and they don't leave any significant waste from an 18x22" fat quarter, whereas making a square often does.<br /><br />I think a swearing report would be excellent.
